For so long, I've been avoiding the mod scene and have no idea why cos I love computers.

Ordered up some blue cathodes, AMD Athlon 64 applique, black wire fan grille for the rear 120mm, black fan screws, tons of black zip-ties, MOSFET coolers for the board, clamps for wires, a lot of cool stuff. Can't wait until christmas when I get to put all this stuff to use, along with my upgrades I'll get as gifts.

This is a bit exciting, I must admit. Now I understand why so many people get a kick from this stuff, it makes you feel like a little kid again (even though in some cases you still are wink.gif).

laugh.gif Yeah I used to love modding... takes up to much time and money for me now though. tongue.gif Don't get funny shaped grilles though, they can mess up airflow.

You go on and stick your finger in. I'll keep mine protected, thank you. laugh.gif

Stick your finger in a 120x38 high speed panaflo, it gave me quite the gash and ripped back my nail a while back...but you'll love modding and quickly find yourself trying to mod anything you can get your hands on, which may be a bad thing biggrin.gif .

yeah, my panaflo 120 hi has bitten the end of my thumb and sliced the other down the middle almost to the bone lol...

it's an animal i tell ya!

try and get/borrow a 114mm (slightly smaller than 120mm) holesaw with arbor and get rid of the rear fan mesh, and also the internal mesh at the front (the aluminium part) really easy mod that makes your rig cooler and quieter smile.gif get some rubber edging stuff to put round the hole to make it safe and cool-lookin! biggrin.gif

I actually did cut the fan grilles out, but it doesn't look that good, still getting the benefits of it though. Just used some old metal snips. I want to get some of that rubber stuff before I finish everything. wink.gif
