Hey guys I am looking for a new case but the thing is my budget, Im only looking to spend 120 on a case. I liked my window on my case, but I guess my cat didnt. She ran in to my speaker and the speaker fell onto the case and kinda bent the metal snapped some plastic on the front of the case and cracked the window. Fortunatly the only things harmed were a few junky fans and an ethernet card.

withstupid.gif The wavemaster is the best case I've ever owned. I have the plain brushed aluminum wavemaster and, not only is it beautiful, it's very reliable and sturdy. I am thinking about buying the black wavemaster to use for my main rig now (since my media rig is using the other wavemaster sad.gif )

Bottom line: consider the wavemaster. It may be a little out of your price range, but you will not regret it. I made the mistake of getting the TT Tsunami for my latest rig... I wish I would've shelled out the extra bucks for the wavemaster, but it was a good learning experience.
Hyper Threaded
I like my Tt Tsunami, once you cut out those nasty stamped fan grilles the airflow is actually pretty good and it is a lot quieter. However, the build quality is a bit of an issue with it it as the metal is quite thin. I managed to lean on mine just slightly, now the top has a nice indentation...

Antec Sonata 2 or Antec Performance II SX1040BII (I have the Performance II and its such a nice roomy case, I love it! It has no window but it has a fairly simple design allowing you to mod yourself. Uber has the Sonata and I also like that one). Of course, lock the craping kitty up and get a Lian Li if you have the money. Just make sure that animal doesnt come near a case you paid 250+ on, without the PSU.

Id go with the wavemaster IMO, its stylish, and ive heard a great deal about it.

My next case is gonna be either an obscenely large addtronics or chenming 901b tower, or the new stacker 2(9x120s!!!). Yes, you can tell I dont LAN laugh.gif . No matter which way I go it will be big, loud, modded, and coooool biggrin.gif . Probably gonna go with the chenming - similar to the addtronics(which goes for ~$120), but is only 55 dollars shipped! It will costs a good 80 bucks to mod it up, but thats still only around 140 for a killer overclockers case. The new stacker will be around 240 bucks tho IIRC, but if it ends up being as good as they say it will I may spring for one.

i'm thinking of a full tower to house my new watercooling setup... i came across some really nice cheap cases by chieftec

Review @ Cooling-Station.net (German)
Review @ HardwareSquad.co.uk

check out the different series and you'll see the full towers are essentially the same case with a different design front panel/bezel... side mounted hard-drive cages with side mounted cooling, massive space, dual rear 120's and bags of room to put a dual rad in make it a likely contender for my next case if i don't decide to make a custom housing to bolt onto the bottom of the tsunami...

kinda similar to the chenming, but without the ugly face! laugh.gif

it's huge. i love it.

I am looking for a new case too, which I will be using when I get my @$$ back to Germany, which will probably end up being the Aerocool Aeroengine II, with the MASSIVE 140mm fan in the front, thats 46 cubic feet per minute I think!

Aeroengine II

Also, I am looking at this Chiefteck case, cause its got a ton of room, and I am getting a version with insulation matts, so there should be next to no sound coming through!

Black Chieftec case

The aeroengine is still my favorite cause it has such a good airflow, and it just looks slick!

Awesome find nrg! I've been searching ages for the biggest case with the most modding potential. I'll definetly check that out and compare the price/potential to the very cheap but very plain 40 dollar chenming beast. On a side note, I bought a new dremel today to replace my old slowly dying one wink.gif .

**edit** I also like the bravo series...2x120's and 5x92mm fan locations stock!**edit**
