I use a dremel to cut plexy in the past but it leaves a bunch of melted plastic and i allways have to break it off. it there a better way to cut it
LoArmistead
I use WD40 and spray it on the plexiglas and the dremel to reduce friction. It tends to help a lot.

I mostly used 6mm thick for what i did and the dremel with the multi purpose attachment worked very well in fact just like a router in wood smile.gif

Yea it works pretty good but it still melts the edges a little on 1/4" acrylic. cool.gif

heres what you do. Take a small torch, like a pocket torch, and lightly go near the edges, if you do it right it should bring back the glass type look..

SAdly, I cut plex with a 6 1/2" rotary grinder wheel. And smooth it out with a grinder.

Pitiful..:
