Which brand of cathodes are the best overall? I want to buy some but, I'm not quite sure which brand I want.
There are some brands like Logisys that I won't touch with a barge-pole, those are the ones where the inverter blew up, I think.

I think the CM ones look better, the colour appears deeper in the pic, even though they're not as bright. I really want the deeper colour.

I doubt there is any difference between brand names. I will say this though. they are made very cheaply. Have extra Inverters on hand!! I have 2 extras even though I no longer have the cathodes.

the best value/perfomance i've found is ebuyer extra value. £4 for 2 cold cathodes, and they come with a switch you can put on the outside so that you can still get to sleep.
