Ste
Nemo helped me find this case, about 2 weeks ago, I haven't bought it yet but I will soon.

The case is

http://www.sundialmicro.com/silverstone_co...x_1704_361.html

and I was just reading this review or guide to it here

http://www.short-media.com/review.php?r=263

and I just realized how freaking sweet this thing is.

If you don't wanna read most of it here are the cool things.

* Accept Dual Processor motherboard
* Comes with Thermal Controller (Function similar to SST-FP52-B)
* New generation wave design.
* Front panel styling reflect perfect symmetry.
* Dual front door design for easy access.
* Multiple cooling options.
* Exceptional strength.
* Tool-less design.
* Conveient I/O ports location.
* Equipped with intrusion alarm.
* Front Panel Lock .

It also has 3 temp sensor wires where you can place on HD's/CPU and one anywhere else, thats linked to a front display where it shows you tempatures. The other sweet thing I like about it, is that it has a mount for 2 80MM fans inside the case and 1 with a filter next to the HD sideways rack mount.

I will be replacing the front and back 1200MM fans with 2 of these

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811999007

so basically this is a "I love Nemo post" post.

I also wanted others to see it in case it is exactly what they where looking for.

this case is freaking sweet.

if i had big fans like those, i wouldnt replace em lol
Ste
They are being replaced by fans with a much higher CFM rating. and I don't care about noise. so its all good.
CNUco2007
i wish ihad some 1200mm fans, but im not sure where i would put them lol

I've seen a few of their cases before. They look flashy on the outside, but the inside is completely different. No aluminum, it's all steel, and I was not impressed with their construction.

My big beef with them is that when you have a dual height graphics card like a 6800GT, the plastic PCI expansion lock piece has to be physically removed before you can insert the card. When you put the piece back on to lock the graphics card in place, it usually doesn't sit flush.

well nothings perfect, but it is the exact thing i wanted, besides I wont have dual Video cards, ever unless i was rich.

he's not talking about dual video cards, it seems he's talking about the higher-end video cards that take up more than one slot.

anyways, the case isn't bad. I'm not really a fan of the external look...I hope you went for the silver at least, because the black looks worse. The LED display seems worthless, as the review you provided states that anything but dead on and you can't see it, and I dunno how your's is situated, but most people's cases are on the floor, thus, it won't be readable. I think for $145 you can find a better case, but to each his own. As long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

oh ya right large video cards.. color doesn't matter to me, I won't really be using the LED display maybe to look at it once or twice. My case is eye level. Outside look really doesn't matter to me, i like this one cause of the placement of the fans.

yeah, i've never seen so many fans in such a placement, so if you're not worried about noise levels, it should be great for airflow.

wow my Antec has the same
selling points as this case

lol

i can even put dual power supply in it

that is a nice looking case but nothing spectacular
Ste

When I was looking around for a case, a lot of owners reported cooling problems with the Wavemaster, which is why I ended up with the TJ-05. I eventually ended up buying four of them - quite a nice case IMHO.
cchalogamer
The wave masters do run a little hot, but hell you could drop the thing in your attic, have it fall through 2 floors and land on a concrete basement floor and knock a chunk out of the floor, and if you're unlucky you'll get a scratch on the wavemaster...compare it to a case like the Tt Tsunami and well.....laugh.gif Tsunami's plactic falls off when you touch it by comparison.

But yeah i wouldn't have bought the wavemaster...anyway i think Lo was getting at the whole wavemaster look ripoff (like the tsunami...)
danyo64
wait for the stacker 830.. what was it like nine 120mm fans in that beast or something.. price hasnt been anounced yet though sad.gif
Ste
ya, the object here is to avoid heating issues. not add more.

I just picked up a tj-06 and all I can say is wow. Another satisfied Silverstone purchase. The quality is incredible. My little brother has a tj-03 all aluminum with side window and I can now realize why Falcon NW uses silverstone cases. Best case either one of us have ever owned and I have had my fair share. Lian Li are nice aswell but some have ran into heating problems with them. I have not completed my rig yet(hardware listed below) but when I do I will post. Here is another review for my case tj-06. I can vouch for their quality.

Anyone looking to buy a new case should definately consider silverstone. Prices range widely also. Mine was 135 shipped.
Arkadiy
What about getting the Cooler Master Stacker and just put some WC in it tongue.gif

Oh here are some nice things you should get before getting the case you wanted:

The Stacker - $154

Stacker Crossflow Fan - $34

If you don't mind the prices, you should get this instead of the one you wanted. smile.gif
Ste
Already ordered, Buddy, But better late then never.
Arkadiy
Oh well tongue.gif Hope you like the case smile.gif
Ste
Oh I think I will its not so much for looks but so my computer doesn't overheat.
