From time to time I'll post my thoughts of "SciFi Friday" on my personal site. I don't do it all the time, just whenever I feel like rambling about the shows.
More of my thoughts on the 1st episode of SG-1, SG:Atlantis, and BSG can be found
here if anyone wants to read it.

@Coolzero101: I still think SG-1 is better than SG-A. Reread my post.

I couldn't stand Farscape. Half of one episode was all it took for me to see that.

Though, I don't think it's fair to the actors to judge them based on past performances.... just because Farscape sucked, doesn't necessarily mean that with them being on SG-1 it will suck (so far, I've enjoyed them).
Enterprise was canceled because it couldn't get ratings.

The cast was stiff, most of the episodes were boring, and for the most part, people were burned out on Star Trek. Like many cast members from the other Star Trek franchises have come out and said, the world needs a break from Star Trek. Put it in stasis for a few years, and then bring it back.
Anyway, going back to Stargate and getting back on topic. I can't help but get the feeling that we may see another Stargate spin off sometime in the future (probably a year or two). This one dealing with either the
Prometheus or that other ship... you hear (or see) both of them from time to time on SG-1 and Atlantis. I think they are trying to build something up with that.

Also, has anyone seen Firefly? I don't know if that show is going to make it or not.
