My current set up:
Athlon 3000 Barton/400 FSB
1 ATA hd
DVD ROM
CD/DVD burner
Corsair XMS (2x512) PC 3200
floppy
5 80mm case fans
Antec tTruepower 430 watt
Now the video card i'm looking into is the 6600gt . Should I upgrade the PSU, or will 430 watts be enough? Every where I look people suggest 450+ just wondering with the odd sounding 430 i will be in the 450 "zone"

you're fine. that antec 430 will outperform alot of 450s out there. your rig will be just fine with your psu.

just recently moved up from the 20pin 430 to a 24pin 550

i was scared that it wouldnt work, turns out the 4 pins on the 24pin were not needed. all in all the 430 was a real bang for the buck.

I think you'll be fine with a solid 430W supply. You're only running one HDD, which will make a big difference.
