What is your favorite color LED?

Infrared? Is that the same as ultraviolet?

no infrared is a wave band slightly above red that we cannot see. Its commonly used to transfer data. like in tv remotes. Or pdas and stuff with irda connections.

Ultra violet is a wave band above violite that we cannot see

my fav is uv

all im going to say is blue gives your case that..cold feel.

OH and RED= PINK

maybe if i was one of those fish that can see the infrared part of the electromagnetic spectrum i'd choose infrared...

however, i cannot claim to be such a fish as i am not a fish at all...

therefore my choice is UV and violet... you can get violet LEDs that emit visible violet light only and you can get UV leds that emit invisible UV and also visible violet light...

Out of those choices blue I think. But I do like orangey as well..

Red only looks pink if the inside of your case is aluminum. My red leds are nice and red, and since I painted the inside red too the cathodes look red also, even tho they looked kinda pink before :/.

Red I could do in a keyboard but... red reminds me too much of the hdd activity light otherwise lol so.. it'd have to be orange anywhere else I think

i voted red but i like red, blue, and green and i have all three colors in different cases

I like white

infrared is below red. red is the lowest color on the visible light spectrum. Ultraviolet is above violet, the highest color on that spectrum. Neither is visible because they are past the limits.

i like uv ones because i can accent different flourescent items

and i already have 4 blue ccfls so i dont need blue leds
i also have 5 more blue ccfls laying around!

Lol, i switched those too! My always on light is red(matches great ) and hd activity is green now till I find a cooler LED that fits the lil spot it goes in.

I said other becaue Orange is my favorite color regardless.. but you don't see many orange led's.

I would have voted UV, but since there wasnt one I went for Blue.

that is pretty cool. You can display secret messages. Have a block of tons of IR LEDs. Only some powered, so as to create a message. Bystander cannot tell without camera what the message is.

hmmm i like blue but i want to have red more! i just have to have the evil feeling

erm.. nope i'm not... and so like the entire rest of the human race, i cannot see infrared... so i'd consider it colourless... maybe those fishees can see it as a colour...

that was my point, IR is not a colour and does not belong on this poll (imo naturally)

That's a good point, D3 not knowing his colors...but the IR/camera trick is pretty cool.
