hey all,
so i am looking for a certain kind of sheet metal that i can use for a vent in my case and am not sure where i can get it. I am looking for some sheet metal that has a lot of small holes in it. Its used to cover speakers a lot of times (see picture below) I am not sure where i can get it, i've looked at my local home depot but they didn't have it any one know where i can get some? thanks

i would think your should be able to find something similar at lowes or home depot, like you said. i am surprised that hd didn't have anything that would work. since it is often used as speaker grill in cars, did you try auto parts stores, i.e. napa, autozone, etc? just a thought.
also, you might wanna try radioshack--even though they are SO expensive.
good luck

That would be a great cheap way to get your hands on some - the dome would probably look real cool on the front of a case...but those vents are really restrictive and may make an annoying whoosing or sucking sound with a decent cfm fan. Sure look cool tho!

It's called perforated steel, and can be found at many places both online and in retail hardware stores. mnpc has it decently priced along with many other hard to find modding accessories.
