I got bored with the regular red led on the MX510 and the green leds on the keyboard...so I took some spare 12000 mcd ulra-white leds and swapped them in. The keyboard took a little modding of the leds to get them to fit since they were a lot taller, I actually had to cut the tips of the leds flat to make them fit under the aluminum plate.

To my suprise (since I read that using white leds was not recommended) the MX510 tracks as good or better than it did before on my Ratzpad GS.

Yep. I picked up 50 of them for 12 bucks on ebay, direct from the factory. The keyboard leds don't light up as much as you'd think though, since I had to chop the led basically in half and removed nearly all of it's focusing capability. The mouse can light my whole room though.
