So, I'm going to be buying a new pc in a few weeks [been planning for many many months] and still have no clue what case to get. I'll start to plan on one case, then I'll notice something and have to start all over again. So, I have a $160 dollar limit on the case and would prefer something large-ish [gaming case], with a window, plenty of fans, light [weight-wise], front USB ports, a cover for the front drives [door], silent, and something that will last me a while before it decides to scratch/dent/randomly break, etc. I know that's probably a good bit to expect, but all the same, any suggestions?

I'm gonna be different and say Antec P-180.

I'm personally not much of a Lian-Li fan, they just look a little too strange in my opinion. I definitely like the look of the Antec P180 though. Unfortunately I'm buying my computer next Tues/Wed-ish and I can't find one anywhere, or are they just not released yet? [I haven't looked into them too much yet, going to do that as soon as I finish this.]

sure, you can get a lian-li, they're huge, but you are sacrificing looks for a high price... i personally wanna buy either a Tt Armor, a Tt Shark, or a CM Stacker
other Options...
Silverstone Temjin TJ05
Cooler Master Centurion
Cooler Master Cavalier
Sunbeam Trio
just look around at what you like and post it here, people will tell you how they are

The Silverstone TJ-05 and the CM Stacket Holodream mentioned are both great cases with tons of room. I own both and I can tell they are sturdy and heavy. Definitely not an aluminum case by any means so if light weight is a major criteria (you mentioned weight was a factor), then these might not be the cases for you.

this thread is 2 sided and is going to turn into a flamewar (trust me ive been there, done that)... just wait til zigen reads *rolls eyes*
when you're buying a case, make sure to look at as many pics as you can, you want to get a good idea of the chassis, like fan grills, HD cages, psu enclosures and what not... find a case that accepts 120mm fans and u wont regret it

It wouldn't turn into a flame war if people would just keep the opinion of looks to themselves. Talk about functionality, build quality, etc... stay away from looks. And holodream, you're being an instigator... please stop.
as for my statement on cases, I've only owned one. My advice is to do your own research and not rely on other peoples opinions of a case unless they've owned a case (ex. zigen's opinion on lian-li's, because he owns a lian-li), because you'll just get some people who like it, and some who don't.

meh, just my opinion but actually i have 2

but back on topic, i would seriously recommend a lian li to ANYONE becasue its actually not really expensive until you get into the full/server towers like my PC-73SL. you dont wanna know what i paid for it. but like the pc-65/ pc-7's they are like 80-$110.

But I don't know if it's even available yet. Personally, I'd just buy everything else and get the case later.
