Like last weeks poll, the idea for it actually came from BloodySunday. smile.gif

So, what one brand do you like the most? Why? That's this weeks poll.

Linksys/Cisco for the best, D-Link for the best price/performance considering that most of my D-Link stuff I've gotten for free.
drewkivela
looks like im on the linksys bandwagon, just never heard anything bad about them

Did my first network on a linksys and loved it, so very easy!
Nerm
another vote for linksys/cisco here. smile.gif

See, this poll is way to generalized. Now, if you're referring to networking with wires, then I would give my vote to Linksys. However, if you're referring to wireless networking, then my vote would shift to Dlink. So unless this is clarified, I don't know which one to vote for!!

man Linksys made it easy for me. I like their colors too. BLUE! =D also the linksys hq is like 1 or 2 miles from my house. =D
CheeseMan42
i voted d-link because that is the kind of router i have and i dont have any problems with it. its a great product

My D-link ADSL modem was... so so. The ADSLNation X-Modem CE that replaced it is far superior though.

My D-link wiressless stuff is pretty awful. It's the Super G stuff, only I am unable to actually use the 108mbps functionality because the access point just continously reboots itself under any kind of moderate network load. Don't think I will buy D-link again.

Other than that, I don't really have anything special. I have my ADSL modem, Intel network cards (now those I like...) uhm... some 100mbps switch and some wires going all over my room. I guess I am supposed to vote for Intel? smile.gif

I love Linksys smile.gif and I can't stand Dlink dry.gif

My network router is D-Link and since I've had no problems, I voted that.

I'm going to go with cisco, since my CCNA teacher tells me most of the internet is supported by cisco routers.

I have had a lot of routers, and I would have to say that my SMC router is by far the best.
I do not like d-link, it was a horrible router
Most netgears are good, but this one netgear I have has too many probelms to count.
My friend has a linksys, and that thing has horrible wireless signal strength.

ive had issues w/ wireless networking w/ my linksys but the wired is fine. overall, i prefer netgear because i havent had any problems with it.

Although linksys is now owned by cisco, I dont know if I would put them in the same category. Alas, I will admit linksys is quite easy to use. Anyway, I vote for cisco. Thusly linksys too if you will.

I vote Linksys, but i have had 0 problems with the 2 netgear hubs i have.

I'm using Network EveryWhere, it's made by linksys and is just as good for a less expensive price.
