I really want a modular PSU, prerably 400+ watts with 25A+ on the 32v rail. I have only seen a few different modular PSU's, such as the xconnect and some other off brands. I want to know all of ya'lls opinions on these modular PSU's.

Please don't say google, I want a personal opinoin, not a static review.

I was buying a new PSU last week and I bought the Antec NeoPower 480W.
Seems like a really goog PSU, it has modular cables too. Generally, from what I've read here, people are not that much satisfied with xconnects, but I never owned one, so....
The NeoPower has dual 12+V rails (12+V1 = 18A, 12+V2 = 15A)

this might help too...

I have an OCZ modstream 480 and it is the best PSU I've ever owned. Check out a review online and you will be impressed. Also, look it up at www.ncix.com and check out the member reviews.

If you want a modular psu then get the OCZ Modsteam 520W

I Have a 400 Watt X Connect, The amps suck, well if I was overclocking alot but Im not so 16 AMPS on 12 V are ok, Very easy, to plug stuff in. I will always go modular now, maybe not X connect though.

Liked the xconnect until nerm told me about the OCZ.

Just to set the record straight from my experience with the ultra-x connect. They are great psu's for everyday use, only real complaints about them is that the cables are stiff and that they are unstable/not reliable when it comes to serious overclocking.

So if you are in the market for a modular psu and you plan to OC then I suggest ethier OCZ or Antec

I fully agree with crackhead.
I have a x-connect and it just is horrible when it comes to overclocking. Today I just got my OCZ powerstream, which is 100x better when to comes to overclocking.
