Ok, I suck at electronics so I need your guys' help.

I need to convert a 110V current down to LED voltage, I have no idea how to do this... I know it involves a resistor but no idea which type. I usually end up frying my LED's due to using the wrong resistor. tongue.gif biggrin.gif sad.gif blink.gif laugh.gif

I'll be running two red LEDs from radioshack ( Found Here... ) to light up the interior of the pulley enclosure.

Your electronics know-how is GREATLY appreciated.

With a 2v led, you better start with one of those wall adapter that converts 110V to anything, i dont know if RS sells them for the exact 2V but if not, ask the knowing salesperson at RS laugh.gif to find you the res to go with say a 3.5V adapter(easily found) down to your 2V wink.gif

Alternately you can get what are referred to as "pilot lights". They're just a small 110V bulb. They don't throw much light, but does a LED?
