I just bought a enermax eg465ax-ve 431 watt PSU


every thing works..BUT the fan in the back dosnt move

LOL

was wondering if anyone has had this problem or maybe if its tem controlled though i dont read anything for that

I don't have one but all the fan on the back should always be on (that is its main cooling fan)

Contact Enermax or where ever you got it and you should get a new one (unless im a dumbass and I have no idea what I am talking about)

I agree. Get a new one...or if you really feel like it replace the fan yourself.

fans not moving are verybad, they shorten the life on your psu and in relation maybe even your mobo and cpu.

some enermax fans are controled by the motherboard and are turned on/adjusted as appropriate. Don't know much more than that. Actually is a similar problem my self except I haven't purchased the supply yet (trying to figure out what it all means, see my post)
