is there any way to get the 20 pin, 4 pin, floopy out with a tool at home?
kobalt
The 4 pin molex are easy to take off with a small screwdriver, the floppy i take them off with a needle. The 20 pin motherboard molex is a little more difficult, personnaly i use the tool. Before that i used flattened seringe needles, they're s/s, very flexible and just the right width for the job wink.gif

Edit:
Here's what the pin look like when open in a lock position, you'll have to close those pins in order to take the wire off.
So with a small screwdriver, push the pin close to the body of the pin, there's usually two of those facing eachother.
Tip of the day is: when you look into the pin hole, there's a crack on the edge, the locking pins are always 90 degrees left and right of the crack wink.gif

Btw on the drawing, the "pin" is rather the locking tab, the pin is the whole thing wink.gif

when i put the pins back in do i just push them down into the plastic connector?
