I was snooping around at work and found some old computer shtuff, Among all the REALLY old crap I saw a Gateway 2000. Since I dont have a large inventory of extra cases lying around I though I might borrow it. But before I bothered I thought I would make sure if it was worth it.
Question is: Does anybody know If the tower would be ATX? I just want the frame so I can build a new outside. How do I tell the difference?

check the power button, if its a 4 wire then its an old AT case if its 2 wire then its ATX case

Oh and also check the back, make sure the holes would line up.. alot of AT cases took AT keyboards, the big round plug. and dont have removable backplates.

On AT boards, the power connectors are labeled P8 and P9. Don't mix them up or you will fry the board.

On ATX boards, they took the P8 and P9 and made one big plug out of it.
