i just did a complete rebuild from barebones in the last few hours.

went to flick on the system and nothing. my psu is from my old computer, and it worked perfecto a few days ago in that rig. ive checked all connections twice and cant seem to find anything i am overlooking so, only thing left is the psu internals.

i did open it to clean it and such but only spraying dust away and such, nothing serious at all. didnt even remove the fans.

nothing happens at all whe i flick the switch.

if i remove the psu from the system, plug it into the wall, what is supposed to happen?

your gonna have to "hotwire" it. get a paperclip handy. on your atx connection, there should be a green abd black cable next to each other on the side where there is like a clip. also check this out, hope it helps.

same thing happened to me when i went from a P3 system and took it all out and installed a P4 system in my existing case with Powmax 400W PSU that came with the case, and it did the same thing, wouldn't run, works fine with the older P3 stuff, but the newer more power hungry parts told on the PSU
