Not exactly sure what processor this is.. didnt bother to look before I smashed the heatsink attached to it and detached it from the board :S

But, it was a slot processor... removing it from the slot was quite difficult!

First I lit it on fire... nothing happened.. so I just bent and snapped it, from there it left a gap where I slid a knife into it and pried it off the board

I wonder whats next tongue.gif

Too many sharp objects for a keychain...picture where those corners sit when in your front pocket! Lol, make a case badge out of your processor brand of choice instead.I did and it looks pimp wink.gif.

I hope that CPU was confirmed dead BEFORE you smashed it up, otherwise I may have to poke you in the eye for ruining a perfectly good bit of hardware biggrin.gif

umm... then I really shouldnt say anymore tongue.gif...

its not ike anyone needed it ... I also smashed a pos 300w psu // with a sledge hammer... (none of these were mine)

I'll let you off for the PSU though. Generic PSU's deserve to be smashed up!!

It looks like you have (or rather had) a Slot A Athlon. Back in the day those were great chips.
aaronamd
do you still have the mobo? Cause I need a FREE mobo for my pentium3 500Mhz so it can fold, would you mind giving it to me?

The_WRATH
hey how bout taking the cpu from the computer your using now and making THAT into a keychain
biggrin.gif
Vasto
You need a RAM Keychain like those leet people (AKA me). Get HDD plate and wear it as a necklace.
injijagwalaafq
I have a little chip I found in the parking lot on my key ring. I think it is ram of som sort.
The_WRATH
lol roadkill
why dont you turn a whole rig into a keychain set while your at it biggrin.gif
if you lots of time on your hands (and you proably do since you make keychains, and more then one) then maybe youd like to do my 15 page essay LOL tongue.gif
chavalcito
I have an XP 2500+ that is dead and slated for making a keychain. I am just too lazy to finish removing the pins. A teenage girl came into the shop today with a really cool DDR DIMM (desktop) keychain. I was dumb and told her, "Having that RAM in your pocket like that is a fast way to kill it." Then she pulled it out and said, "it's already dead."
