Awsome computer man, where did you get that case, I might have to get one myself
It would be top of the line in everything if he didn't get that graphics card, ohh well.
If you don't mine me asking how much was the final pricetag

Blaine..... Nice job.
You still have to perform "Clean Up" on the case tho.... u know zip ties, tuck away the extra cabling so the airflow isn't impeded. that kinda stuff.... other than that, WOW!
Did he even have a budget for this project? Or did he just say buy whatever you want....?
Yea i second "NoPepsiForYou"- What was the final price tag....
Any guesses anyone?
My guess is 2K....... 2000 bucks....

ATI Radeon 8500

Yeah that's awesome but how did you convince your boss to get stuff like a water cooler?

Jan 8 2003, 12:58 PM

Jan 8 2003, 04:06 PM
how does the innovatek work out?
temps?
vyroburn
Jan 8 2003, 07:08 PM
OK on the innovatek, I liked it ok, i really didnt like the tubing that came with it, it kinked to easy, the water resavoir was a little small. One major gripe of mine is that the radiator was not square and plum i had to moddify it by drilling holes to get it to fit the 120mm fan correctly.

that i hated about hte innovatek..... I liked the waterblock and how it attached to the ziff socket. I got the redesigned block and it seems to work very well.... The temps are not as good as my swiftech/KOOLANCE water cooling solution but they are rather similar thou.
(ON first boot)
CPU SURFACE TEMP (25)
CPU CORE TEMP (29)
MB TEMP (29)
(Second boot)
CPU SURFACE TEMP (24)
CPU CORE TEMP (28)
MB TEMP (29)
FULL LOAD
CPU SURFACE TEMP (28)
CPU CORE TEMP (30)
MB (32)
So the temps are rather good, and that was as soon as the thermal paste was applyed so the temps will drop a bit with time....
Personally i wouldnt buy the innovatek for myself becuase the switech is better.... But for the price, ido not think you can beat it I love the clip on the innovatech and the pump and the temps so it is a good buy for 200 dollers
TiKiGoD
Jan 8 2003, 07:34 PM
oh my god... those temps are pretty amazing anyways though. Okay, I'll go with the Koolance/Swifty setup
ATI Radeon 8500
Jan 8 2003, 07:56 PM
What radiator do you use Vyro? Those are really good temps though, what pump did you order with his kit the thing that makes Innovateks not look so great is the tiny pumps that a lot of them come with. Well anyway if I buy a water cooling kit I think I'll get it from Cooltechnica with the new Swifty waterblock.

Jan 14 2003, 11:21 PM
that is a full sized EHIEM pump it just has the baffel taken off of it so that the water resavor thing would go on there..... ya i like swiftech better
it was a MAXXXPERT radiator to answer your question... seemed to be the best combo for the case... becuase I didnt want to have to cut wholes in the crap thing
