Good.... now the pallys can quit wining, and the devs can get back to work on adding more Shaman stuff.

There is nothing wrong with pallies as they are now. people just dont understand the role of the pallie and how to use it correctly. shamans ha i spam rank1 command and they purge untill thereo ut of mana, or if there smart they wont do that jsut use whiper roots and try to spam flash of light to get them to earth shock, once they have no mana GG they either wolf up or die. ive found the best all around build is protection with reckoning and repentance, with just enough in ret for command and the last 8 points in holy( i do mis concencrate and free crit heal every 2 mins but hey i can kill mages now ; p )

To many pallies go for the cookie cutter ret build and try for lots of damage, but they have no hp and a very small mana pool. i win most duels because i can out last with a 6k base mana pool in plate

Shamans are only overpowered in PVE as they are a better suport class than pallies for groups, but 1v1 there cake if you know what to expect

Pallys are one of the easiest. Rogues Being Easiest for sure.

The only thing I cant defeat is an arcane mage, and most warlocks kick my ass aswell.

I just picked me up a sweeet BoP Shield, and a very sweet 40.9dps 1H, throwing on some demonslaying since I've been farming some pleasent demons in winterspring.

Does anyone know if they will add more Druid Armor/update it? I've seen the updates for all the other characters, such as the Blood Fang armor and I have to say that the druids get the crappiest looking armour of them all. Not that I have anything to worry about at level 15....

every single pali ive stood against has dropped, even with there heals and absorb crap... its those dang cloth wearing no armor fruit cake priests that get me everytime... ima set there robes on fire.....

I used to have a pally, now ive got a hunter. So i know, that pallys will drop if you keep a steady stream of hits on them

I think that looks freaking awesome! Better than the other junk I've seen. This game is quite addictive. School just started though.
And on top of work I haven't played since monday! Ah well, at least I'll have a crap load of double exp by the time I get to play again.

Working on getting my valor set, scholo and strat are pita.

In all honesty, Valor isn't worth farming for. There are plenty of better armor choices for both PvE and PvP. Personally, I have five (won greed rolls on three of them, heh), and only really put two to any use (replacing them soon, though). The others just sit in my bags looking pretty.

Are you kidding? I love Scholo and Strat (dead). The only instance I like better is UBRS.

Valor set is nice to have, unless you plan on farming HK to get the PvP set.... and if you think getting the Valor set is tough, try going after the Might set. That is damn near impossible.

Played AB last night, about 8 runs through. Holy crap is AB awesome, maybe it was just awesome because my tream kept winning. Playing 8 times.... won 7 of them. w00h00. For the horde!!!! Hoping to be making a few ranks if I keep this up.

I capped a lot of video and I am freeing up more space today so I can cap some more for a decent AB video. Hopefully have the video done this weekend but that might be asking a lot. We shall have to see.

Now this is what WoW is all about. Honestly, this is one of the greatest scenarios I have ever seen in an MMORPG. Any WoW players here been infected or seen an infected NPC and/or PC?

As a druid I was working on my Wildheart set when I realised this . sucks. Its got no +healing... So Basicly I am only using the wildheart chest right now. Which is really all you need. There are alot of good dire Maul drops for druids. Do DM Tribute runs. They are so easy and take only bout 30-45 minutes. There are alot of good mail and plate peices in DM too. Also alot of first set peices are just downright crap lol. Your sacrificsing alot just to get the set bonuses. Its not worth it alot of times. The teir one and teir two epics are alot better though. Even though I would use some peices over others...


and those core hounds hurt lol.. Ive droped a few times from that dot.

hi, i rarely check these forums but..im farming air essences and im minimizing when i autoattack =O. right now i am 3/8 earthfury and i have helm of the lifegiver and aurastone hammer(with 22int =O) anyways, my guild has ragnaros on farm status and we have killed up to firemaw in BWL. what about you guys? also, we are approaching creating a thunderfury and we have made 1 sulfuras so far. AND i have 6600base mana and like +200 of heal gear =) im a shaman btw.

ZG: Haven't done much work in here, but so far, dropped Jeklik and working on Venoxis.
Character profile is in my sig, but to sum it up: no MC lewtz, but 5322 unbuffed hp, 7297 unbuffed armor, and a decent amount of +defense gear (at 374 currently). Warrior ftw!

And.... does it make a difference what race you are? Say I wanted to be a night elf warrior or something.... ?

Each race has different abilities or traits that can be nice.

The Orc's have a +damage for pets which makes them good hunters or warlocks. Dwarfs have a +skill to guns which also makes them good hunters.

Gnomes have the escape artist ability, which while it isn’t that great, it helps out if you are a rogue.

Humans have +skill to swords and maces (I think that's the two). That helps out if you are a warrior or a pally.

The racial bonuses aren't anything that's really great... You can be just as good of a hunter playing a nelf as you could and orc or dwarf. I always pick my characters based on what I want to play more than anything.


The only racial trait that really WTFPWNs would be the trolls. They have a +throwing trait that is just devastating. /sarcasm.

As far as a server for OCC. Everyone is pretty well spread out.

now how about pvp vs normal servers? I've got a lvl 11 Rogue on bloodhoof (normal).... but pvp sounds pretty tempting... Does anyone have a first hand experience with it?

I'm not sure if battlegrounds are gonna be enough pvp for me...

Be honest man there isnt no difference between pvp and pve. The only difference is that if you go into a contested area (Stranglethorn Vale) you get flaged on a pvp server. Which makes you a target. If you dont want to worry about the ganking that goes on, which alot of times is just stupid while your walking around minding your own business and out comes this rouge who stunlocks you and you cant do anything about it and you die due to mass DPS before you could get out of the stunlock. I just think that PVP is a great aspect of the game. Just keep it to the battlegrounds. Pluss on normal servers PVP is much more together. You plan . instead of going out and just killing ..

Pluss the fact is that there are alot more mature people on normal servers. All the freaking 12 year olds go on the PVP servers to "kill .". I think there is much more to the game then just killing the oposite faction. Which is why I play on a normal server.


Belive me battlegrounds will be enough due to the long grind for faction once you reach the lvl cap. There is alot of good gear to get out of some of the battlegrounds.

I think that the battlegrounds provide a more realistic theme for the PVP idea...

Could you explain the battlegrounds in a little more detail for me? How many people are fighting at one time? I read... 20-40 players... is that enough? What's the point of fighting in the battleground what's there to win and what's to lose.

You don't really lose anything from battlegrounds, but if you win you get a somewhat small amount of exp. Ithink it was like 2000 or something can't remember. They also have rank specific items, the more you play and the more you win the higher your rank. Once you achieve certain ranks you get special armor that only people of your rank can wear. They also have a few quests to be completed in battlegrounds.

Which is why I dont play world of Flagcraft... I think warsong gultch was the stupidist idea from blizzard... AV, and AB both offer somewhat realistic battles.

I'm loving my undead rogue....killing elves is getting sooooooo much easier....i never realized how annoying they can be >.<....I still love nightstar.....but I don't think twice anymore when I stab an elf in the back :-D

Ulgh I hate NEs, Shadow meld is so gay in AB... You have about 3 NEs melded on a flag you come running up to it in stealth and quickly unstealth and try to take the flag and what do you know you have 3 NEs gankin your ass..

rogues are by far the funnest class to play in WoW not to mention one of the deadliest.. a pair of rogues on vent both with stun watch are a force to be feared. stun lock ftw =)
