Ugh, flash sites suck. I'd like to see more shots of the interior. Seems like the only interesting thing about it is the exterior, and eh, I dunno, it didn't do that much for me.

Most cases aren't that much different from each other on the inside...

Yeh I agree, it seems that all the detail and effort was put on the exterior. Thtere are only like 2 interior pictures and they are small :|

Most crap cases have the same interiors

, its the interior which gives a case its value

I think it would be friggin sweat to hook up a keychain remote to the front door so it opens at the push of a button.. this thing has some potential.

If that type of style is your fancy, then I guess that this case fits you perfectly. However no matter how the looks are I always stress function over looks. IMO it lacks in the function department. For that much money I would expect more expansion, made of aluminum, etc. Sure it may look good to some on the outside, but for the money I would expect a lot more on the inside.

now the more i see it, the more it sucks. first of all is a steel case, the scoops now are getting ugly by the moment.
130 is a little pricey. you could get an Antec Piano where everything is rubber and aluminum and awesome paintjob. but it is one of a kind

Like the review said, it's a good conversation piece. I don't like the fact that it only has space for 2 hard drives and no DIRECT airflow over them. There seems to be a big area under the hard drives which could have easily accomodated at least 2 more drives. I guess that area can be good for a WC pump.
It's looks pretty, but it's lacking on the inside. Plus, it's steel, and trust me when I say that steel cases SUCK if you have to move them. I bought my Silverstone thinking the weight alone would deter anybody from stealing it, or I would save myself the trouble of bent side panels. Of course, it's also the WEIGHT that sucks for me cuz I have to move the dang thing around, and it's really bad when I have to move out of my campus suite.
Carrying close to (possibly more) 50 pounds, carefully might I add, down 4 flights of stairs and several hundred feet to the car isn't very fun.

My cases have always been steal and I seem to have no problem with them... they don't weigh nearly 50 pounds. Unless you have like a 10 foot tall server case or something... stick yours on a scale, they probably aren't more than 25 pounds. I'll admit the inside of this case is a little lacking. As far as I know this is Asus's first case and they did a dang good job.

Feb 17 2005, 12:45 PM
Its not ugly but more just sleek and smooth. Otherwise not my taste Im getting a case that looks a bit more advanced thatn that and one that is more functional and cheaper but considering asus did it I suppose its good. Nemo how can you say such a thing alienwares are ugly as h***. Least I think so would anyone second that.

that case sucks @ss... i saw it a while ago... as soon as you see the inside you know it's just a crap case with a fancy shell (just like alienware and any other case that tries to look like an alienware case)
$160?!?!?!
wtf... it's just a crap steel case... as in, a crap, sharp-edge, nothing special, no ergonomic design p.o.s.

I think it looks like those stupid ricer cars chopped down to the ground with the wheels sticking out and one of those really stupid over sized spoilers.
I used to think those spoilers provided no function but now I know they are idiot detectors!!! Everytime I see one of those spoilers I always see an idiot!!!

Don't feel down everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The outside appearance is unique (I wont take sides wether it is nice or ugly) but the internals are lacking for the price.
