I have finnished volt-modding my x800xt, but different guides say different things on how high i can push the voltage on my memory. one guide says up to 2.25v and the other says 2.45v. I have good cooling on the ram, though its just passive. actually, the front is active but yea. since i dont have a temp sensor to watch, how high can it go? also, from what ive ready, i should push the VDDQ to ~0.1v above the VDIMM. is this true? if i push the voltage to 2.45v, should the VDDQ be about 2.55v? I just want to check all this out before i start adjusting the pots lol. thx for ur help...

What is stock for the x800xt, I know my x850xt is 2.15. I would test it out at 2.2 and if it is getting hot then raise it some more. I would say do not go too high without some extreme cooling. If you start to get artifacts at lower clocks, then lower the volts.

Dont want to be the party pooper but if i had a X-800 i wouldn't play around something i know little about that could kill my precious.
Dont know what your budget is but i dont think anyone would want to fry a X-800 sad.gif

unless you work for ati and get free cards

What exactly is the VDD @ stock? I'd personally say 2.25 given my experience on other ATI cards.

I think that is it the same as your memory voltage, I have to check. If I did fry my card I would get over it, you have to take some risks when you are addicted to benching.

I too would get over frying my card but wait mine is a 9500 pro, not a X-800 at around the same price X-$800
