how about you cut a hole in your case, and make a window! so you can see inside!

i know it sounds crazy, but with some hard work & imagination.....you may just pull it off

what about a plexi external harddrive bay, for my linux drive. Anyone know whare i can get something to change ide to usb or firewire

i dont think it is as simple as a converter. I may be wrong, but doesnt it also have to have some hardware, at least a bios chip, that would allow it to interface as an external drive?

they have external drives that are ide that ive swapped b4, it should work, now whare can i get one of them w/o the hdd or with a broken hdd

haha yeah good idea. Hmm i might have to try it on an old 214mb hd lol just to do it maybe i'll put some leds in it.

if you take a look at my sig, i own a metal gear box extHDD-enclosure.

I really like it alot, and that way it is designed you could remove the lid and create a plexi cover for it.... blink.gif
