I don't understand why they would add a filter to the BACK fan. I mean, aren't you supposed to use fans for INTAKE fans, so that they prevent dust from getting INTO the case. Who cares whether the outgoing air has dust in it, it's not like it's gonna come back in through the back.

I know this is alienware but anyone noticed that it's starting to look more
like the real alien head with the tall forehead (if you've seen alienvs predator).
I've never made the connection before seing that case

Personally, I think it's a bit tacky. I've always been a fan of Lian-Li/Cooler Master/Antec though, so I guess I'm biased. Imho, the case should complement the hardware, not the other way around.

I have always liked RaidMax cases, but that is the worst case they ever made lol. The air flow in it is horrible and it is ugly and tacky looking to boot. Also, the 450w PSU that comes with it isn't worth powering a flashlight lol. I know you think it looks cool, but the truth is that is one of the worst cases Raidmax ever made.

I think that style of case is slowly dying, if you notice less custom built computer companies are using that style. I think the new style is the CM Wavemaster and TT Tsunami, those are rather popular amongst custom built computer companies.

I have noticed that ABSPC.com uses Tsunami's for parts of their line-up, and a couple of other websites using it too.

UHH im so tired of seeing that that thing. Its so god fr***ing ugly. Pardon my french but geese it was ugly to begin with. Whoever came up with the design of it needs to be shot. Burn Alienware Burn.
*edit* Didn't look at the price at first not only is it ugly but expensive.

Well I can think of several reasons - 10 in fact: little fingers (nice to have when there are small children about)

i think the case would be good to have because whenever a noob sees my computer with an x-dreamer II case, the first words out of their mouth are, "Whoa! Is that an alienware?!" They then say that again after I say I built it myself.

I like a door on my case, if I'm lazy I don't need to buy new drives and/or stealth my old ones everytime I change cases. Doors also open up a lot of new creative designs for the front of a case, if not for doors all the cases would still look plain!

i did think it looked like a alienhead from alien vs predator! i think it looks cool i like the look of it. and i think lan-li makes the ugliest case E V E R!

Im my opinion Lan-li cases look great and those alienwares are ugly as ****. Sigh I can't believe I used to think alienware was good. Umm one question. Am I the only one who used to think alienware was good? Did we all once?

To tell you the truth, back when alienware used those cheiftech-like cases, I didn't think they were all that bad. I even considered buying an alienware at one point, but I ended up getting a Dell (even worse, I know) before I built my own.

my friend has a new alienware.. and when you actually see the ailenware compaired to that.. the alienware has a much better design

I still prefer my "mesh" case with my added 120mm blue led blowhole with a Star Trek communicator pin on it.
