I like the 1/2 and 1/2
bishop245
looks pretty good

I like it a lot, keep the red with the video card, it looks excellent, like a gas burner laugh.gif
Maybe a couple of blue leds well placed between the cpu HS fins would improve on the general look.
i did something similar on a HS and it looks great, here's a pic, it looks better in front of you, the cam didn't catch all the light. I did put some top and bottom after that pic, and it looked even better

i have that same case... its hard to hide all the wires I wish i could turn my HDD sideways..

I'm probably going to swap out the PSU at some point for an Antec Neopower 460W. that way, I can eliminate some of the wires by taking them out altogether. I'm still looking for some cool RAM leds but they just don't seem to be readily available unless you buy them with the RAM (Corsair, for example, has some cool stuff).

Thanks for the replies, and yes, I changed my name.

I like the two tone style.

There are some aftermarket led kits for ram but they do not act like the corsair of course but give a nice light show anyways smile.gif
These are CDN prices so a little less in US currency
they ship anywhere wink.gif

I also have a red and blue setup, except mine is the opposite of yours. I have the blue in the back and bottom, and the red in the front and top. I wanted the look to be the inverse of the temps. So the hottest part of the comp (CPU and vid card) is blue while the "cooler" parts of the comp (optical drives, hard drives, intake fans) are red.

I think it turned out real nice since the XP-90's aluminum fins, the OCZ RAM's shiny heat spreaders, and the PSU with a mirror-like finish reflect the red much better than they reflect the blue. Plus, the blue wire sleeving on the PSU wires look great against a red background.

try folding the s-ata cables behind the 3.5" drive bay, like so :

What cooler do you have on your video card, it looks pretty sweet!

Actually, it came on the card that way. I think Gigabyte is the only company that makes a 6800GT that looks like that. The passive heatsinks on the underside transfer the heat via those tubes to the top where the active heatsink/fan take it away. It's part of the reason I bought it. I think Zalman makes an aftermarket kit that is similar.

I'll try wrapping the SATA cables tonight, but it looks like yours are in a better position to do that. My SATA ports are on the bottom edge of the board where yours face the HDD bay.

Thanks for the link to the led strip. It's funny, because I found the exact same ones on another site right before you posted that. At any rate, I think it's what I've been looking for.

Now I just need to get some sleeves for all the extra cabling. Also, I find that the Ultra X-Connect 500W PSU is extremely nice for the money and it's modular, so I may go that route instead of the NeoPower. It has gotten fantastic reviews from every website I checked and the cabling is not only UV reactive, but it's braided so it looks very very clean.

I dunno, doing a search for x-connect around here gets much more mixed reviews than the neopower.
