It'd be even better if all cables could be made to utilize fiber optics.

Fiber op. lighting would be like leds except that the wire would be as big as the led itself, since the light goes out only at the end of it.
But the good point of it would be only one light source, and you'd be able to change the color by changing the bulb color.But the source would have to be outside the case cause of the heat
Good idea if you want tons of light but wou'd still have to hide the wires, it would not look half as bad in a plexiglass case though
