ok fellas it is time to mod yet again. this time is a full modd crazy mod...
I aquired a duel board 3 foot server case on wheels, by winning and armwrestling match... I wanted it so bad it gave me that extra addrenilen.
well we are gonna mod it totally out with duel amd athlon 1.3 boards and 14 cd roms for file server... should be sweet black light and red cathodes.... 120mm fans uv paint black paint the works well check out some pics i took of the case.. IT SHALL BE CALLED THE BEAST!

and yess that is lexan, and those are 120mm fans look small dont they? well the case is gonna have massive windows in it top mod with a 120 mm and stuff, justin and I are working on it tommorow. so we will get more pics as the day goes allong so i cant wait to see how it is gonna come out.... we tested the lighting system and it is gonna work great,,,,,, hope yall enjoy watching this project as it unfolds

we know that is our biggest concern at the moment, we are gonna look at the code and see what we can do, becuase there is no reason why it should be that slow becuase it is T3 so we dont know... OH and here are some new pics

When i read this post i was smiling. It is insane running 14 cds in a server case. BUt thats goin to be a hell of a machine.

Vyro ive experimented and im decding to paint my case interior white. I noticed a hot . bluish-purple when i put a piece of white copy paper near the uv cathode.

That server is goin to killer when u mod it with paint and cuttings. I just love the invention of uv cathode.

Ive seen that big uv cathode light bulb u have at a plastic store. Does it emit as much heat or more then the uv cathode?

The reason i have 14 cd roms is, um i dont know... but why not if they are free!!!! all are scisi and it will be funny to post that bad boy on pimprig.. when i am done. oh and i will never have to drag out my game cds again... they will always be in the drives. HEHEHHEHEHEH this is why

a buddy of mine filled up all his bays with Cd-roms (4) on scisi i called him crazy then and im calling you crazy now, MOD ON !!!

Well i havnt got to modd much these past few days becuase of work, but i got the top windows done and installed the 120mm fan to show what it will look like... Note that the edges are not sanded yet, and that we will be using chrome edging, when it is painted black!!! here are some more pictures of the project

wow...... looking really good blaine.... but shouldn't that 120mm fan be an exhaust fan not an intake fan? cuz hot air naturally rises so i think it would be a better use as a exhaust fan.

yes i know, I put it on there last night just for the pic, it is going to be an exauste fan, just looked better all black!!!!!!!!!!!!

i still suggest that u go liquid cooled and dye the liquid red to match the color of the CCNL.....
