Isn't this A sweet case, Has the right amount, not to much just the right amount, steel case, clear side, no PSU. And theres even a lock on the swing out Bezel!.

Who would buy it?

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&Tab=1&NoMapp=0

I just had to show it!.

Can any one reccomend a UV light, connects to PSU right?
nVidia_Freak
It's okay. I'm not all that crazy about it. but it's okay. Maybe if it was blue in the pics instead of bright, florecent green, I'd be more inclined to like it, but I'd much rather buy a case from Chenming and add my own cathodes & neons, that's me, but it's certainly not bad.
Bionix
buy it, let me know how it is... lol. I like the looks of it too.
Ste
Ya I will very soon, If it doesn't come with at least 1 UV Ill have to get a recommendation where to get one.

These are the two extra fans Ill be putting in since Case comes with none.

i dont get the point of "doors"
no one ever leaves them one
they always get in the way when their open and it never gets closed because ppl use the cd/dvd drive
if your really paranoid about ppl stealing your drives you should invest in some locks for your home doors
ThunderChicken
ya im always afraid im gonna break it off when going to lans
bishop245
are you going to waste money on those fans or have you already wasted money on them

if your going uv then get uv fans too
Ste
I haven't bought anything at all yet. Thanks, however I still have to buy a UV light if it doesn't come with one, any recommendations of what to get besides color.

UV reactive fans
If I wanted to buy a UV light would wattage would u recommend Because I don't know what connector goes to PSU?

No cables shown.
Folding_Buddha
I don't think i would buy your first one, i like cases that come with blowholes in them
Nemo
With only two 80mm fans in that case, you may encounter cooling problems. I would buy fans based on their ability to move air and not on their bling bling factor.
Ste
ok whats the measurement for that and what do you recomend, and I still know nothing bout UV lights like how they connect and where they go. lol. I would alos like them to be UV reactive. but could always figure it out later.

Well, maybe something like these. Pretty much of a trade off between noise and air flow. You want to get the highest airflow (CFM) rating you can without making your case too loud.
bdylyzsouless
here you go this case is much better

Fireonice
i have ultras uv light stick thingys and there GREAT!!
Ste
Bionoic cold cathodes are UV lights? if so thanks for site will be ordering something from there.

Sound wouldn't bother me, thanks for the fan recommendations.

And ya that case would be great if I had the $$$$$ to spend.

Off to do more reasearching

Little price discrepancy between a $59.99 case and a $209.99 case wouldn't you say?
Ste
just lil.

are cold cathodes the same as uv lights or would they make things uv reactive anyways?
swifty11212
I think a case with 2 blow holes would be best, and for me, i think a full sized server case would be good, all that room and better air flow (depending on fan)
DarkScorpion
I hate the one you posted, wayyy to small and looks like it will have crap-tastic airflow. These are ym favorite cases:

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-112-509&depa=0

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-112-040&depa=0

Those cases have the best airflow you ever find in an unmodded case and scream MOD ME. Really popular and good lookin cases wink.gif
Ste
Yes, however I don't plan to overclock at all. besides the cases u suggested are all extremly pricy for me.

Does anyone know about UV lights and cathode lights?
Fireonice
uv lights back uv stuff glow and cathode lights well they just glow the color that they are. i recomend the ultra dual uv lights
Ste
Thank you. lol Sorry about saying i won't overclock but if I ever fried or currupted something I wouldn't be able to replace it. ANd I really don't do anythign that requires a faster proc then IM ordering. thanks for the help. AL though I will fold! foldon.gif
bishop245
you can get uv lights in cold cathods or in leds

the uv ccfl's come with a small transformer just like other ccfl's that the light tubes plug into the you plug it into a 4 pin molex connecter from your psu

the leds depending on how you buy them may have a 4 pin molex or you may have some extra work to power them by makin a pcb to mount and power them

uv fans/uv fans with leds plug into a 4 pin molex just like a normal fan does

hope that helps you a lil

It's funny how some peoples think PC'S are all the same.
I know what you mean when you say it's too good,i build systems for peoples and for some , they dont mind if you put in a cheap $50 motherboard or the latest N-force, a duron or an XP 3200+ all they know is when i press the start button i want it to be ready for me to use in a jif. (and that's less than 5 minutes cause their last system was a P1 100 Mhz with win95)
Those dont have access to my rig either loll
Ste
ya, does anyone use ultra PSU's?

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...8624&CatId=1078

I have this one in mind, I really don't want the freaking huge ass wires.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&Tab=0&NoMapp=0
If I have 2 of those fans do I need another 12 V connector 4 pin, i think the fans are 4 pin.
CNUco2007
As for doors, i use mine. i think it looks better. I know my door isnt going to break off. darn thing is like 4mm thick aluminum. i just open it when i put something in the cdrom. I only lock mine if im like leaving for extended periods of time. i live in a dorm here at school so i like the security. Doors lock but there are 3 other ppl who can get in here. (my roomate and 2 sweatmates) Anywayz, what kind of processor and stuff u putting in this build?

EDIT: I have an Ultra Xconnect. i like it but the wires are impossible to hide. nonetheless, they look good in UV light lol. Check out the link to my case in my sig.
Ste
ok kool, I certainly will get the Ultra X connector less wire clter and will work great with the Uv lights,

They X connectors will work with these connectors right?

http://www.xoxide.com/4inuvcc.html

it also says the fans are 12 V, DC does that mean I have to use the 12 V, DV connector or can i use 2 perpihals for 2 fans?

Btw NIce Case. I can only imagine what my room will look like, my dads build a desk extension that fits into a corner and over in my room, for new computer.
