I don't need some super dooper power supply, nor have the money to spend on one. i was lookin back at an old favorite site of mine, and saw this.

http://www.amamax.com/diblpl60atxp.html

it fits my case them perfectly, and has 24A on the 12v rail.

anyone heard of diskmate or whatever the heck they are?

with experience with psu is go with name brand
just because it says 24A on the 12v rail it doesn't mean it good
they dont test those specs at room temp.
to make their products look better some other brands test their psu's in lower temps like 0C

it's got 2 SATA connectors as well.

like i said, i'm not looking for the best of the best. i need something better than this 300w pulled from a hewlett packard that is one year old powering my main rig. get the picture?

Looks the exact same as this one http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-163-018&depa=0 looks like it has pretty good ratings.

solid for $36 and quiet, or splurge for the active pfc model for 57 bucks

The one that you linked is just a relabeled Powmax, easily capable of killing everything that is powered in your PC. Just save up some money for a good PSU as you never want to skimp on a PSU.

It's got a 1 year repair replace, at that price, you're covered smile.gif
Just make sure it's got short and overload protection wink.gif (and no i dont mean underware lol)
