will post some pics laters, but ive got to drill the holes for the rivets in the window, what the best method for drilling them? slow or fast. i was unhappy with the window because i did it too big and the window got in thw way with taking the panel off and on, and i had to use edging cos i rushed the cutting and i want a clean look with the window.
what i have done since is:
1 put my 120mm 190cfm delta fan in the front, but because its fatter that a normal fan i had to cut off the front mounting holes as they were getting in the way of the curved front so the front wouldnt go back on, pics laters.
2 took the keyswitch out the body of the old keyswitch caseing and mounted it in the front properly, nice and clean.
3 remarked out a window shape and measured where i will be drilling holes, had to draw out diferent window designs to cut round the handle so the window was smaller = better fit.
all i have to do is cut out window ( tonight ) then post pics!! although mounting rivets come tomorrow, i hope.
and i have 2 wierd holes comming off of my motherboard tray and they happen to be 80mm, so i will put 2 of those arched ducts comming out the other side panel behind the motherboard like exhausts with 80mm fans.
then twill get sprayed metalic black in a body shop. phew i think thats about it.!!.
ducts im planning on using
today i have finished the work on the window and installed a nice gold fan grill on the front so i dont loose a finger or an arm with that fan!! phew.
i brought some plastic rivets sold from my UK online shop, meant for mounting fans but was perfect for mounting anything realy, i think it gives a real pro finish. god i spent ages jigsawing that window carefully so i dont have to use edgeing, spent more than twice as long filing it down, man am i covered in sores and blisters. heres ya piccies

spot me taking pic!
