Thank You!

I dont think the lenth of the antenna equals the range, it's probably set with the chips on the cards, but i wouldn't bet my rig on it laugh.gif
Someone with more experience in those might have a better idea tongue.gif

Antenna lengths are tuned to the transmitting frequency of the underlying device. Adding a wire in an attempt to increase the range would more than likely cause problems instead of helping. If you want to increase the range, you're better off seeing if the manufacturer offers a higher gain antenna for your card or router. Or look into adding a repeater somewhere in the mix to improve performance.

this is one of the linksys product. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-999-203&depa=5 I dont know if thatll work but if not, you could always do the wire coat hanger. =D lol

EDIT* http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?...ory=1413&DEPA=5 thats the link. Just look in the bottom 2.

EDIT2* http://www.linksys.com/products/product.as...cid=38&prid=648

Those will work too. but i'm not sure if they'll plug in to your card... There should be some accesory for your card too.. =D

edit3* go to the netgear website. go to products, then go to the bottom. find antenna and accesory, then click either indoor or outdoor.

That should be my last edit post... Good luck man!
