I REALLY like this case. The most important things to me are the 120mm's front and back (more air less noise), and the perpendicular HDD mounts. The control panel on the top is very nice, but I don't do much of any USB or Firewire, and there's no need for any sound apart from what's in back.

Are there any other cases out there to compare with this, namely the 120s and the hdd mounting? The price is right, and overall I like it, but I find it hard to believe it's the only one of its kind.

Also, it seems very logical on those sideways HDD mounts to mod a fan in blowing through on either side of the case to get cool air over the drives and right back out, but I haven't seen anyone do it. Is there a reason?

mmmm the first thing that comes to mind is an antec lanboy...

if you want a ncie case with big fans, and NO noise look into the Antec Sonata, and an Antec 120mm temp controlled fan. thast what a buddy of mien is runnign and there is no noise. also teh Antec p160 is nice.

Same thing comes to my mind. antec lan boy is small but can hold a lot of stuff in it.
