and even though it has "modular connectors" (meaning you can detach the molex, sata, and pci-e lines) it still looks a mess with all the bare red, yellow, and black cables:

so i've already bought a psu sleeving kit and have the necessary molex and atx pin removal tools, so i thought i'd take the first step towards building my new rig... so this psu comes with a 24-pin atx connector... and a 24-pin to 20-pin adapter (right hand side of picture above)... i can't even begin to think how ugly this would look... so i spared myself the horror and decided to re-wire the atx mobo connector cables into a 20-pin connector... so first i got some tape and some paper and wrote out 1 - 24 and stuck them round the wires so life would be easier later on:

and then i proceeded to remove the atx mobo connector pins... or actually, attempt to remove them... lol, i really didn't know HOW to do it, i had the tool, i knew the theory, but it just didn't seem to work... after much stress and annoyance it turned out i was using the tool on the wrong edges of the pin... i thought i just wasn't pulling the wire hard enough and this happened (successful wire complete with pin on the left, not so successful wire with no pin on the right):

and as luck would have it, it was cable 13... woooOOOoooaaahhh, lol

anyway, it took pure hours to finish this and i couldn't be arsed to stop to faff about taking pictures every 10 minutes, so here's the finished article

the red sleeving is UV reactive and i tried to take a photo of it in the dark under UV but the ccfl tube kinda drowned out the glow so i'll just leave the UV shots til later when it's inside the case
anyway, that's the first part, next is easy, the molex and sata power cables... LOADS easier than those stupid atx mobo connector pins!!!!! yay, i'm pleased with a job well done
