well the title sais it all. i am going go build a socket t system(lga 775 pci express) and i was wondering if i would need a new power supplie. i heard that the regular atx 24 pin woth work with it.

Intel stated in their tech docs that regular 20-pin ATX PSU's should work fine with the LGA 775 mobos. You can try your Antec TrePower 430 and see if it works by closely monitoring the voltages with a digital multimeter. Here is some proof that a 20-pin ATX PSU will work fine on a LGA775 mobo.
