With SLI coming out soon I can see those becoming a necessity.
BabyBalrog
THe only comment about SLI... the 600 comes with ONE PCI-e power cord, you'll have to run the other off an addapter, which is fine becasue no other PSU even has one, you would have to run both.

SLI is already out buddy....... but yea this would be a nice PSU for it. but once SLI hits main stream and nto only tyest rigs more powerfull PSU's will shortly follow.

What I find kind of disapointing is that it has a 20-pin ATX connector while the lower models all have the 24-pin connector. But it is also nice to see dual 12v rails.

It supports ATX12V version 2.0 and EPS12V - therefore it has to have a 24-pin connector.

as i recall it has a 24 pin native and a 20 pin adapter

I was referring to the pictures at newegg about the 20-pn connector on the 600watt version.

EDIT: never mind stupid me I didn't notice that the extra 4-pins are on a special separate cable (i am not referring to the P4 12v connector)

i have the 520Watt version of it and i love it. its really quiet, pumps out the heat well with its fans and has a really nice green light. the things i dont like about it is that it has a 24 pin motherboard adapter that is big and takes up anouther ~3 inches in cable to put on, and the adapter isn't sleeved like the main is. the two shielded 4pin molex connectors can get in the way because they are so bulky compared to the regular ones and can be hard to hide in some of the smaller cases it also gives you less to work with because their are no branch off molex connectors from the 2 shielded ones. and one more thing, i dont like that the sticker is on the left side so the reflective side is away from the window which doesn't make sence, i hope in future releases they will correct that. i give it 9/10 stars/points/kudos whatever you want to call them.

i like my Enermax Noisetaker 420Watt PSU, quietest one i haev ever heard. it pumps out plenty of joice as well. only thing is i would like to see more PSU with 8+ molex. (raid mad.gif ) but im soon to be upgrading and this one looks like a solid choice.
