I'm looking for a new PSU, as my 360W thing is really pushing it's limits right now on my system. Don't know what's 'enough' these days but a while ago I was drooling over the OCZ PowerStream 520. This beast, however, is still over £100 and that's way too much if you ask me.

I've seen an Enermax 470W for nearly half that, £66 and for the same price there's a ThermalTake PurePower 560W. So, which would you get out of those two? Is 470W going to be enough for say... my current system in sig + maybe a 'high end' graphics card (maybe)? Why are the 560W and 470W the same price? Is the ThermalTake a bit crap or what?

EDIT: I think I answered my own question. The ThermalTake is 22A on 12v and the Enermax has dual rails which total upto 31A. Looks like I should go for the Enermax, unless that's some bizarre absolute peak rating or something?

BTW I am also looking for nice and quiet. Anyone got an Enermax 470W beast here? Very quiet?

UPDATE: Ok, I just bought me an Enermax NoiseTaker 470W and a Swiftech MCX462-V Heatsink for the other pooter ( if it keeps that around 40C load I might consider getting me one and dumping my water cooling actually blink.gif ). If they're both crap... please don't say anything smile.gif I'll probably end up killing myself!
