i have that case, but the mobo faceplate that came with the case is different from my mobo, but i can't seem to find a way to remove the faceplate. any help?

yeah just smack it with the butt of a screwdriver. it'll pop right out (from the OUTSIDE of the case)

I had to do that when I bulit my new case. It did make any marks when I did it.

I had to remove the ATX plate on my case too... though I was a bit more diplomatic, prying it loose with the tip of a screwdriver in a chisel motion (with rubber mallet) wink.gif

Your m/board bundle should also have the correct ATX plate included smile.gif

Getting out is the easy part, wack with a screw driver, DONE smile.gif Now gettign the new one back in, THAT can be fun, they dont always want to fully go in. I usually do the reverseputting it back in, wack it from the inside of the case l laugh.gif Tends to scare the friends whos PC you are helping them build. Be sure and get ti in though or it will press on the mobo the wrong way and it'll be hard to get the screws in it.

I have a friend that litterally gave up, he now has a wavemaster case, and dosent have the I/O plate installed lol.
