case#1 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...3718&CatId=1509
not bad, like the blue, but the white seems kinda weird. i like the solid side panel which leaves room for a custom side job ^^ but i hate how it limits how many 3.5" bays you can have. it gives u 2 and 2 internal so with a floppy dirve, u can only have 3 hds which suck because i already have 3 (a 120, 40 and 40) but i wanna buy a 4th one later on, but with that case i can't do that sad.gif plus it doesn't have headphone+mic jacks at the front which will be annoying everytime i wanna put my headphones when i play CS.

case#2 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/ca...ge=3&CatId=1509
the color seems a little weird but its cheap. has a lot of internal 3.5" bays for extra hds smile.gif and front headphone+mic jacks. and it comes with a power supply. but the glass seems odd. a friend of mine has a similar case, and her glass is a little scratches up, and there's dust inside, and i dont want to do all that cleaning. and do they have extra side panels? i couldn't find any. extra side panels for when i want to do a custom job.

case#3 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&Tab=1&NoMapp=0
i like the new silver 1 a little more then the black 1. its nice smile.gif the lights at the front seems blah to me. i usually leave the comp on at night and that might get annoying. and the side panel. same problem as case#2, can i buy solid panels for it to do a custom job? it has front audio jacks which is good and a lot of internal bays

case#4 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/ca...ge=4&CatId=1509
the black version of #3, its not bad but i like the gray 1 smile.gif

case#5 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...5237&CatId=1509
i like the blackness. and it leaves room for a lot of custom jobs like with the front and side, but 1 of the reasons why it annoys me is because it only has only 3 3.5" bays for a harddrive. and i already have 3, where will i put my new 200 gig which i will buy?

case#6 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...7097&CatId=1509
just like case #2, but black and blacks always good smile.gif 1 problem.. the side panel, do they have solid ones i can work off?

some other cases i looked at but didn't give much thought

** for the cases that come with modded side panels, can i find original ones that are solid so i can do my own modding? and for the case with the front glass panel will they get scratches up easily? **
InvaderTrax
I like the black Diablo and #6

yea but like can i find solid side panels for those cases and like the ones with the glass, will it get scratches up easilly?

I'd widen your search to other websites such as www.newegg.com, www.zipzoomfly.com, and www.xoxide.com You can find a lot of cool custom cases at those sites.

yea but i'm gonna stick with tigerdirect cuz they screwed me over. i first ordered a yellow cheiftec case from them and it wasn't yellow so i got that returned for a black case, and now that 1s broken so i'm returning that for another one. dang them!

and i dont care if its not cuztomised, i wanna do some of the customizing myself like the side panels (if i can eve buy extra ones for some cases?)

Absolutely. Not only did they hang up on me on the phone they gave me so much crap when I went to the store and talked to them in person. I no longer buy from them or recommend any one to buy from them.

But back to the topic I have worked with some of those Chieftech cases and I like them considered them for one of my own rigs.

I can personally attest that #6 is a steaming pile of cheap parts. As for my opinion on which one you should get....maybe #1 or #5...I like simpler designs with good airflow and not too many flashy lights...both of those need the front flap deal open in order to get to your drives which I find an annoyance though.

well i like the cheiftec cases to. u can easily hide the flashy lights just by closing the flap :-P
but gah if they had a few more internal 3.5" bays i would be happy and consider them. isn't there any way to add more?

ME love so far#3 but wat r u gonna use for it? OC or wat? I suggest the most Case Fan placement. for OC. and Aluminu is good too. Try to get that.
Leldorion
How many 3.5" drive bays do you need and for what? I'm assuming that's for hd's or temp monitors/fan controllers?

CHIEFTEC MINY!!!!

well yea imma use it for OCing. imma get a cooling system when summer rolls around. i figure as cold as my room gets, having a OCed comp that can produce temps of 90s would be a good thing. XD hahah
and the 3.5" bays. well umm i have 3 right now (120[windows and everything], 40[linux], 50[use this 1 for all my torrent downloads], and wanna get a 200 gig soon) so if i get the cheiftec case, i'll get screwed huh? and i'll probably have 1 fan controller which i'll have in the 5" bay.
is there like anyway to increase the bottom part of the cheiftec case to hold more then just 2? cuz i know u can just pull it out, and maybe slide in a bigger 1?
asus
wow. .for 30 bucks you cant go wrong
