I want to make a case mod for my girlfriend but I need some ideas. I dont have enough money to spend but heres my plan. I gonna buy a cheapo case and cover it in fabric, like in that guide at pimprig.com. she loves pink so im gonna use pink fabric, Im gonna paint the front bezel, but dont know what color, I wanna use Vynil Dye but I font think it comes in pink. How does this sound, what should I add.

Well if she loves pink put a little on there but usually girls love pastel colors blue green as long as it's pale and not shocking, that's if she's into softy things.Some might look for brighter colors like in their cars, most girls will not go for a pink car lolll unless she's into barbie head over heals.I'd go for soft colors myself, not entierly pink, that's too much.
Your idea of fabric is good, maybe a little 1/4 inch of rubber foam under will give sort of a pillowy effect that you can pin trough to give an upholstered look if needed and lace girls love lace loll .

If the case has a window you might get some cheapo UV red sleeving kits. They usually turn out pink instead of red under UV light.

that's true about uv ccfl's ,you'll be the only one glad to buy red ones cause of the pink hue

For the outer part of the case I would go with pink fur on the outsides, with a black and pink front bezel. You know, just paint the edges on the front bezel black and do the rest in pink. I would think that would end up looking pretty sweet, especially with a window and the UV ccfls

EDIT: Also, what can I do with the front bezel. I dont want to paint it, unless I can find pink vynil dye. Could I use markers or something? Or what other color would go with black, I might get a blck case to start with. Could I glue the fabric in strips to make a pink zebra effect? Or like make stickers or something?

If your going to be painting any of it a light color then your gonna want to get a beige case, but if your painting a darker color then getting a black case is fine, you just dont want anything to bleed through or have the paint not cover it well.

That would work real well actually, and would match the rest of the case.
