Here is a pic of my new case...it has a plexi glass top with an 80mm fan...I wanna either cut out the plexi for the 80mm or cut a new hole for a 120mm panflow fan...I have never cut plexi before....any tricks of the trade or just dremel it out?????

If you already have a hole i recommend dremel with the sanding drum bit coarse paper low medium speed, that way you can enlarge your hole safely without the fear of cracking the plexi. If you dont have a hole make one 1/4 to 1/2 inch smaller and do as written above better slower and safe than sorry

I have the exact same case, I just eyedballed an 80mm circle around the current fan grill. I am also going to put a 120 on the top soon, which I will use a cd & razor to outline the hole, and then mask it off and dremel. Just let the dremel do the work, I tended to put my weight on the plexi, which could result in cracking.

What i do is get masking tape (the blue kind it doesnt leave residue) then tape up both sides and draw out my hole. then i use a jigsaw with a 32tpi blade and cut slowly. I let the edge of the hole hang just off the edge of the bench i am using to cut on. This way the plexi cuts easily and no flexing means no cracks. I just cut the 2nd hole in my side window today and it went without a hitch using that process.

I would use a drill bit to cut plexiglass or lexan, very quick and simple
