Yes Tt ducting mod works i've had it for at least a year, it does makes a diffrence to take the no air space (place where the hub of the fan is)off, since the fan is around 3 inches off the HS, air is distributed evenly on the HS.

It started when i had only the top one inside the case, and really needed a second one (stronger) for the leds and lights etc. so i bought a 400W and decided to keep the 400 for hardware and strap the 350 to "light" dutty loll
since then i always kept 2 psu's in my rig.
Actually on the desk now i have 3 running, i hooked another 350 next to the desk to run the new uv ccfl's and all the other desk gadgets i might think of next

Why overload one when you can have 3

Yes it is shower hose, i got the idea when i saw the case in bit-tech forums you can get some in the plumbing dept in any h.depot or similar hardware store it's called bungee hose, but beware, this is S/S hose get a good hack saw or as i did a grinder with a cutting wheel on

just remove the molex connectors. its not that hard

IDE cables aren't covered they're just regular silver ones
Altough i mod a lot of things, i wouldn't try IDE cables, it really looks complicated to get the tiny wires where they were in the clip
