Ok this will be my first case i am going to make from scratch. I had a few ideas not sure how they would work out please give any sugestions or recommendations/feed back here. First i though a all acrylic case but they sell thsoe not to original. then i though of taking my speaker box (fairly large) and hollowing it out, then coating the whole inside with uv reactive paint. then lining the whole inside rim of the box with uv lights. then this would leave open spaces witch would help with the cord manage ment. i have nto yet though of anythign else if u got suggestions im into dragons, EVERQUEST, ut2004. my currect modded case is broken that is why i am makign a new one. and liek i said this is my first case i make the current one was baught in seperate peaces and put together. and btw yes i know this is not all suppose to be one paragraph but why waste time with grammer? lol

I dont think I quite understand what you are trying to do with the speaker box, but I think it would look cool if you could do the metal work to make a case that looks like a stereo reciever and has the dials and an lcd display, just IMHO

ok lemme try to rexsplain what i was goign to do with speaker box. fist take the big speaker box and expty the speakers out. then spray paint the UV reactive paint in the inside of the box. get all the pc parts put into the box. then line the outer rim of the inside of the box with uv light and then cover the front with pexi glass so that it will completley glow with the uv lights on.
I also got thsi idea of making a big rectange box with the componets stuck inside.
Then on top it will take some artwork but to make a terrain like enviroment and try to glue warhammer guys to the top to make it look like a battle going on. like 2 big warhammer army's attacking each other.

Ok, if that speaker box of yours is wood, I would very much recommend watercooling it.

And try some clear UV reactive paint, as it'll have a cooler effect. Maybe blue?

And maybe the word Everquest spelled out with EL. Then, have some UV reactive fans in there if you're not watercooling it. If you are WCing, use some UV dye. Blue would work best.

EDIT: Oh yea, and some of these and one or two of these. And if you are going WC, I can build and paint you a res for less than what you would buy at Xoxide or Thinkgeek.

EDIT2: Oh yea, and put this in there as well. One hell of a case for when the lights go out. You can stick the strobe in a thing to the side of the case, a little added box or something. Add a few mirrors into the box and you got yourself a dang nice and expensive mod.

ok well i got this mod started and 2 days straight work almost done. I can get some pictures once i can borrow a digital camera i dotn have one yet :0( but i have 3 led fans down one side of the case 2 red and a blue in the middle. got some uv neaons (4, 4in) coming in wednesday along with some green clear coat spraypaint. and yes the box it made of wood and no dont have the money for watercooling. I also decided to stick a pexi glass front door on with a lock so my cat doesnot make it his bed. Also with the spray paint i ordered 2 applique's to stick on the front window. this one http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/apl-103.html and also this onehttp://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/apl-151.html will get pictues in as soon as i can.
Also: Kamikaze_Badger is that strobe light battery powerd i could hide it behind my cd drives would look cool.
