I'm looking for the guide on how to flip the mobo upsidedown in a chieftec case. Basically making it like a Lian Li. I saw it a few months ago but I can't remember where. Anyone know where it is?

you will need to stick your motherboard, and motherboard tray on the left side of the case. (where the window would be) it would be too much work. Your bettor off buying the lian li.

you would need to devise a new rail system.

The guide I saw used all the existing parts (But had to cut a few parts!) The biggiest problem I am seeing is getting the Mobo tray back in there right. I might have to drill some new holes for the rivers. Basically the front of the case will be left alone and the back will be flipped, or at least thats how I remember it! Everything seems to be going back together pretty easy I just can't remember what I'm suppose to cut so thats why I need to find the guide. Reason I'm not buying the Lian LI= 260.00 My case=55.00 biggrin.gif

actully most of the parts are held by rivets, so all u need to do is rivet them out

Thats all done, heres a pic of what I got so far.

The windowed door is just flipped over (same thing with the other side), You can see the rail that the PSU sits on at the bottom. I havent decided what to do with those yet. The might cause problems when I put both of them on and try to take out the HD Cage.

Ill post more pics if someone replies biggrin.gif
