OH yeah! flat black and uv orange add some uv leds or a small 4" CCFL on the bottom and WOW instant sexy front pannel tongue.gif
suchuwato
ooh yah.

ya nice desing - though im curious to see how it turns out over the holes in the front bezel - very nice choice of colors- suggestion - put a THIN grey line on the outside of the turbine port tracing the orange and then fanning out to the edge of just below the virtical orange dotted lines (kinda a "wing" like effect") but if not then it still looks great---

i take it that drawing is "just a sketch" and not to scale (whatever) are you going to outline the cdrom and froppy drive bays once they are installed????

*edit*

yeah if you painted the black using a dark flat black, then a glossy orange (uv optional) and on the sides of the case - mask out a tribal design and instead of painting it - just use clearcoat to set off the tribal - from head on it might look invisible but once you get an angle shot of light that gloss tribal design will really stand out biggrin.gif

something similar to this but more of an angular design on the tribal:

suchuwato
that's a nice mod smile.gif what flavour shake was that?
MindDrive
LOL it was a super sized coke with no ice LMAO - ya i found out the hard way that plexiglass doesnt break like real glass - i tried to score a circle and "snap" out the hole- it worked but you can see the side effects of not actually cutting all the way through sad.gif

so why havnt you finished this mod yet general??????? cmon your holding us up in anticipation and im slowly running out of finger nails LMAO j/k heh - take ur time and get them paint lines razor sharp biggrin.gif
General
Lol you guys are way off. its PVC piping. $2.48 at rona. (although i was preaty thirsty maybe i shoulda gotten a drink laugh.gif)

Heres the latest. (what i did this morning.) right now its homework time, then i shal start aplying the first coats (Im using glossy black, and by the time im done buffing this thing will be like a mirror. Im using florecent orange paint wink.gif

FunkyMonkey
just a quick question?
where will the air be directed too?
General
inside the case. The fan has to be the exposed part otherwise it will look like crap
kobalt
Thinking about it, i might just use that front hole idea on an old case i have tongue.gif
Thnx General wink.gif
General
alright. i painted the 2 side panels. I have a window i need to cut into the top panel, and im waiting for the putty to dry on the front bezel.

here is after 2 coats. I will sand it with 1500 grit tommorow and apply the next coat

(something im not looking forward too, but it has to be done)

Its a lil dirty, but it should be fine once i start sanding out the scratches
iancox14
keep up teh good work mate nice modding
General
adding the last coats then clear coat after which i shall begin sanding and buffing
