chavalcito
I think it's a mess! Sorry!
geeman74
its ok i dont mind

tidy up the wires a bit and dust the insides....
MindDrive
ya for looks you really need to hide the wires behind the other side of the drives - take the other side of the case off (if you can) and then run the wires on that side and leave the door side as clear as possible of any visible wires (ide cables and floppy cables an exception)

question - hows that processor fan/heatsink working for ya? is it loud or quiet??
dean25
wire city man apart from that all good

EDIT:are those pci exausts any good i was gonna get one but the guy in the shop just gave me a blank look when i asked so i assumed he was stfu or they are no good.
Vampire
Sleeve those wires! You have a UV cathode so it could look really sweet in the dark B)

there not that good doesnt drop the temp much quiet tho
gonna sort all the wires when i install the water cooling, the fans noisey when i turn it up, i have sorted the dust problem its all clean and dropped the temp by 5degs

better to have a proper fan although radial ones do have a higher cfm

Can I hijack the thread? smile.gif Since I was going to ask about the whole wire management thing and if you had any suggestions if I could make it better anyway.... rolleyes.gif
dean25
looks quite clean i would take out your psu and use electrical tape and loom it all up it looks very clean when done and cost less than £1 to do

PS: is that dryer pipe connected to your pc or somthing?

Dunno if there is a whole lot you can do to make it better... maybe a pic with the side off would help.
Nice case though.. same as mine.. except mine isn't as tidy (and it doesn't have a window).
markiemrboo
Ok I just moved an inverter so you can't see it and taped a few wires down, looks a little tiny bit better.

I'm not too sure what you mean by loom it all up with electrical tape?!?

Here's an inside shot, so you can see what the side panel edges ( well..... there aint alot of edge on this panel to be honest, it's like 99% window smile.gif ) was covering up

EDIT: The dryer pipe, or duct, is bodged on the side of my water cooling box thing ( which I need to make smaller, so I may be putting the pump back in my case soon smile.gif ) which sits behind my computer where no one can see it's nasty bodgyness smile.gif

I just now took a shot with the side off, I realised it would help smile.gif It still seems like there's something I could tidy... somehow.... smile.gif
jammin
Looks pretty clean to me.
Suggestions anyway.. sleeve your power supply cables (obviously this would take a bit of time).
Could that wire coming down infront of the drive cages go behind them?
Think thats about it.
markiemrboo
Cool, thanks.

Most of my power tables have a spiral wrap thing around them? and... not really smile.gif It's connected to a 92mm fan sitting in the side panel It annoys me too! I might be able to force it up against the edges or something though...

EDIT - Like so:
jammin
yeah.. some wires you just can't completely hide can you.. dang graphics power lead (at least you don't have to worry about that).
Good job though.. think I will have to have a tidy soon.
markiemrboo
lol well, I have one wire coming from my graphics card which you might not be able to see (I rule!) the stock fan on it stopped, so I ripped the fan off the ThermalTake 'Active memory cooling kit' and superglued it to the stock little heatsink thing biggrin.gif the wire for that runs up beside the block and then onto my fan controller. But yeah, I know what you mean!

Thanks! I need to sort out a smaller box then I am gonna have a go at some UV painting, not that this pooey camera seems to be able to catch UV glows (those orange cables should be glowing but they aint) but hey smile.gif

Looks good mine is a mess just like his. hard to organise the wires the bend 1 way but I have this computer for only few more weeks brother is taking I am geting a new one. biggrin.gif
geeman74
ive ordered sum sleeving 4 mine should get all my bits this week then ill post the new pics, wish me luck hiding evrythin lol
markiemrboo
Yeah I can see how they'd be harder to organise without the help of the rails and things I have which can be used to hide most of the power cables smile.gif

Theres a couple of power cables hiding inside that rail you can see at the front, the one with the screws in it. Then there's an identical rail on the otherside which has the big ATX connector and it's little 4pin 12v baby in it.

What kinda abit motherboard is that cheap new looking to get a new motherboard asus cost a lot.
markiemrboo
Huh? I think you're asking what model motherboard I have?!? Abit NF7-S, I picked another one up as new on ebay for £45 the other day..
worker

I got one of those, they dont really do crap, like dropped 1 degree under load.. :S

But what you can to do it to incrase the cfm's is to take out the stock spinning thing.. not sure fi that should be called a fan or not.. and replace it with a nice 80mm+ fan, then take the top cover and cut the hole a lot bigger so the fan can spin freely, that shold improve it biggrin.gif
