rant
Well, I was a little pissed tonight, I bought splinter cell pandora tommorow for a very nice price of 15, I got it installed, but when I would try to run it, it would say to put the play disk in. I had this problem with farcry recently. So I was getting pretty pissed, trying different things. I was testing my parents dvd drive and cd-rw drive, and both didnt work, So I was getting pretty ticked (bc i knew it was windows at that time). So i was frustrated and gettin pissed even more bc a molex connector was stuck in the back of the cd-drive i tried. So I was yanking at it, and when It came out, I hit the side panel which was laying flat on the table, and it came off the table right on the top of my foot. OMG I havent felt that much pain in a LONG time. It put a dent into my foot, literally. Its blue & black right now, with a nice divot about an inch long. So that was my first experience with my case bitting back. :-(
Also tonight, I've reinstalled windows hoping to get this to work! ughhhhh got a full reinstall and service packs done in 2 hrs (all service packs were downloaded).
Just thought I would share my crazy experience tonight. OOhHh and to top it off, I got pissed at bestbuy earlier today, because I was going to drive to greenwood (about 35-40mins away) to pick up an ipod (b-day prez). So I called them to make sure they had everything in stock, and i waited 15 mins on hold. Tried again 30 mins later, same thing. ughhh not a good day.

I got nicked by a Radeon 7000 in the A+ Class I intern for the same way. Fussie little molex connector wouldn't budge so I pulled hard and my hand flew back and I left some skin behind on the card.

Try crazy glue! It was made for sealing wounds in battle. Don't use the no-stick-to-skin stuff though, it won't work.

My Chieftec side panel has sharp edges inside, where it slots onto rails to close or whatever. I got a nasty cut from that once

I think it's usually the fans that get me, because I keep forgetting they're on!
I stood on a soldering iron not long ago, that kinda hurt! Left a nice sorta.. inflated.. imprint.. kinda thing.. in the shape of the tip of the soldering iron

I think the last stupid thing I have done is grabbed a cold cathode while it was on, not the plastic casing... the actual cathode. I didn't know how they worked and didn't see the very thin wire going all the way down it! Came as quite a shock, literally!

It was really annoying walking because I could feel the inflamed lumpy bit it left

good point! We had some laptops come in at our college after I had left, for people with broken arms and stuff so they could still work. Everything always happens after I leave though
When I left middle school they had a whole new network with lots of decent computers, for the time, put in. When I left high school they put fibre...fiber...optics all over the place and had all their computers upgraded too! poo is all I can say

University has lots of dells.....

they have a sparc or alpha or soemthing sitting about somewhere that people are free to use.... I think.... maybe

Chit, I better make sure my medical insurance is up to date. I'm doing my first build this weekend. That duct tape on a wound is an old Vietnam trick. Do you know what superglue was first used for? Closing up wounds on the battlefield temporarily.

You know what really cut your self is on those high RPM fans like the venos 12 that goes 5500 RPM or my hard drive cooler it uses a turben fan and has very sharp fan blades out of metal take a peice out of your finger.
