Ok with all my upgrading I have been doing lately my old stock PSU just can't cut it anymore. So I have been looking at 3 PSU's. MGE Vigor 500 UV Sleeved 500Watt, Thermaltake Silent PurePower 480W, Antec 480W Power Supply with Blue LED Fan. Which one would you suggest? I am kinda leaning towards the TT myself. BTW this will be going in my Main Rig in sig.

I've got an antec true430 and I like it. NO problems, clean voltages.

withstupid.gif The Fortron 530watt PSU is probably the best PSU one out there besides the PC Power Cooling 510watt Turbo Cool. Last time I checked, it was around $75 + shipping and tax if applicable.

has anyone had any experiance with the Ultra 500w Modular?

I was going to get one for my new build project, but then I noticed a few things I didnt like about them.... First, doesnt come with SATA connectors which means for having to deal with another adapter and a bit more cable management to hide it. Second, and what finally caused me to look elsewhere was the fact that it only has a single power rail rather than multiple to keep your motherboard and possible vid card connections seperate from those of the drives, lights, and whatever other mods you have drawing power. As for their performance, I cant say, just that it didnt have a couple things alot of people, including me, look for in a new power supply.

yea when I first seen it I thought it looked pretty sweet, but the more I read on it the less I am sure of it.

I get the 480 one form antec. I heard from a few people on there reviews that they blew up when the firts used them.
