Has anyone every tried to mod this case? I want one but I would like to have a window in but I'm not sure about that bracket that runs up the middle in front of the Mobo. Is it ok to leave that thing out or does it need to stay? Also, what about cooling? Is 2 120's enough or should I opt for water (and will a water kit actually fit in there?).

that thing is massive, a water cooling system would fit no problem.

Not BTX, the motherboard is upside down
I have my Opterons in a Black V-2000, and couldn't be happier with it

it's like a btx rip off kinda, it still puts the proc in the general area, just not with the standard that BTX is promising.

It does do a decent job in dissipating heat. My Opterons never go over 50c on stock cooling, but in my old case it was getting close to 60c

The 120mm fan right beside them really helps

The front 120mm fan does a great job in cooling my 15k rpm SCSI drives too

I read a reveiw a while ago on that case and it cooled just slightly better than the thermaltake case with 7 fans. and I think that case only has two or three somebody correct me if im wrong. so it is actually a very good and smart design for cooling.

It has two 120mm fans stock, and space for two 80mm fans above the PSU.
