I hope that this is in the right section. I wanted to know if it is ok to put my cd-rw, 80mm Vantec Tornado cpu fan, and my 80mm panaflo case fan on the same lead from my powersupply. I assume I shouldn't have a problem, but the Tornado is a powerful fan. I know that they say to put your video card on one dedicated lead, but I have my FX 5700 Ultra and my Antec 80mm intake fan on the same one. I have no problems there. Anybody have any advice?

silence and Tornado dont go well together...usually the tornado eats silence then throws it at you..
And where can I find a SilentX fan? I have even googled for them with no success.

Soz if i'm asking a really stupid question, but how do you put more than one piece of hardwire on one of the wires coming out from the PSU. Can you buy like splitters or something that split one of these wires into three?

You are right. I found them under SilenX, but they are too expensive, and only about 18-25cfm.

that stuff works great - but whenever you insulate a computer for sound you will inevitably raise your case temps about 3-5 degrees F

you should do it if you got a good power supply. Your cd drive does not run all the time so it does not use a lot of power. if your worried you can hook it up to another cable but it should be fine.
